1. What did you do this past week?

This past week, I worked a lot on the project and tried to get it functional. I spent a majority of my time on the backend while also moving to the frontend to do a piece of work there. All in all it was a pretty tough week.

2. What’s in your way?

I have a very busy week this week so I’m hoping nothing bad happens when all of my classes and projects begin colliding. I’m not too worried though.

3. What will you do next week?

Next week, I’ll start working on phase 3 and I will also study a lot for my other classes. i’ve fallen behind a bit on those so I need to catch up! I think that it is gonna be a pretty hard week but I’ll do my best to make it work out.

4. If you read it, what did you think of the Interface Segregation Principle?

I thought it was an interesting read. I definetly think it’s an important concept but it’s also one of those things where I see it and understand but fail to implement succesfully in my code.

5. What was your experience of comprehensions, yield, closures, and decorators? (this question will vary, week to week)

I had never seen this stuff before so it was all pretty new. I though prof downing did a great job explaining it all thoughj and I had a good time learning of it.

6. What made you happy this week?

I came back to austin for the week so seeing some friends and eating good food was really nice.

7. What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My pick-of-the-week is about the STAR method of answering questions in interviews. I wasn’t aware of it until recently but it really helps provide formulated and insightful responses to questions you get asked. I would definetley look into it.
